About Rural Skills

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), the skill training and placement program of the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), occupies a unique position amonths the skill training programmes due to its focus on the rural poor youth and its emphasis on sustainable employment through the prominence and incentives given to post-placement tracking, retention and career progression. Lack of formal education, marketable skills and other constraints imposed by poverty place significant entry barriers to today?s job market. DDU-GKY is therefore designed to not only provide high quality skills training opportunities to the rural poor, but also to establish a larger ecosystem that supports trained candidates secure a better future. DDU-GKY is uniquely focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families.

Rural Skills hosts the process-oriented software, Maharashtra Skills Development and is designed to enable the implementing partner to manage the process of training end to end and comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) notified by MoRD for DDU-GKY, enable stakeholders to monitor progress of training and placement of the candidates in real time reporting, monitor compliance to the provisions of SOP and initiate corrective measures.

Rural Skills has been pioneer in implementing Digital India in the skills domain and showcasing the world that the process can be digitized and monitored in real time saving on cost and resources, ensuring compliances to the provisions of the scheme guidelines and SOP and, infusing efficiency and effectiveness in the ecosystem.

Our Features

Access Management

Access Management process group allows the admin to create and manage users and their access to modules based on their profile and limit their geographical access. The process group also allows the admin to define profiles based on the user requirement.

Project Management

Manage project initiation and update timelines of a project. Create repository of documents related to the scheme for each project. Create basic training parameters for conducting training and manage human resources to be assigned to each project.

Centre Management

Manage centres from registration till termination. Generate Facility Failure report during training in progress at the centre.

Candidate Management

This process group allows registration and selection of candidates from the registered candidates.

Batch Management
image

Create Batch till closure of a batch. Transfer in the event of exigencies.

Training Management
image

Training Management process group covers functions of training starting after enrollment of candidates into a batch till closure of a batch.

Placement Management
image

Placement Management process group covers functionalities related to placement of candidate with de-duplication of employers and work place of employers.

Financial Management

With the introduction of CIFRA (Centralized Integrated Fund Release Accounting System), you can monitor the E2 (eligible for 2nd Instalment) or E4 (eligible for 3rd Instalment) or E8 (eligible for 4th Instalment) subject to compliance of other policy provisions for fund release.

Project Monitoring

Monitor compliance of Training Centre with the SOP and status during periodical inspection of the training centre.
